RESOLUTION 71-17 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> ACCEPTING THE TOWN'S ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORTS FOR THE YEAR <br /> ENDED JUNE 30, 2017 <br /> WHEREAS,the independent audit provides annual reports on the financial condition of the Town <br /> in accordance with Municipal Code Section 2-3.221; <br /> WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills contracted with the audit firm of Maze and Associates <br /> (Maze) to conduct an audit of the Town's financial records in accordance with Governmental <br /> Accounting Standards Board(GASB); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the year ended June 30, 2017 was <br /> prepared in accordance with all relevant GASB pronouncement and best practices set by the <br /> Governmental Finance Officers Association and reviewed by Maze for fair presentation and free <br /> from material misstatement; and <br /> WHEREAS,it is recommended that the City Council accept the Town's CAFR for the year ended <br /> June 30, 2017, and the Appropriations Limit Report for the year ended June 30, 2017; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, resolved by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that the <br /> Council hereby accepts the Town's annual financial statements as prepared by Maze and <br /> Associates. <br /> The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of <br /> Los Altos Hills at a special meeting held on the 14th day of December,2017 by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Waldeck, Radford, Corrigan, Spreen,Wu <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> ABSENT: None ( <br /> <br /> Gary Waldeck, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Deborah Padovan, City Clerk <br /> Resolution 71-17 Page 1 <br />
