ORDINANCE NO. 399 <br /> ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING <br /> THE EMERGENCY SERVICES CODE <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the language of Section 4-1.05 <br /> (Director of Emergency Services: Powers and Duties)so as to name the Planning Director, <br /> if available, as the Assistant Director of Emergency Services and if unavailable, the <br /> Finance Director as the Assistant Director of Emergency Services. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does ORDAIN <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. AMENDMENT OF CODE. The introductory paragraph of Section 4-1.05 <br /> (Director of Emergency Services: Powers and Duties)of Chapter 1 (Emergency Services), <br /> Title 4 (Public Safety)of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> Sec. 4-1.05. Director of Emergency Services: Powers and duties. There is hereby <br /> created the office of the Director of Emergency Services. The City Manager shall be the <br /> Director of Emergency Services. There is hereby created the office of Assistant Director <br /> of Emergency-Services; who shall be the Planning Director. In the event the Planning <br /> Director is unavailable to serve,the Finance Director shall serve as the Assistant Director <br /> of Emergency Services. The Director of Emergency Services is hereby empowered: <br /> 2. EFFECTIVE DATE: POSTING.
