ORDINANCE NO. 338 <br /> URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> EXTENDING URGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 337 <br /> TO REQUIRS CONOXTIONAL DEVELOPMENT PERMITS <br /> FOR LOTS WITH A HUMAN HABITATION SETBACK <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the- Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> adopted an urgency ordinance, effective for 45 days, on <br /> August 15, 1990 requiring conditional development permits for <br /> lots with a human habitation setback; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the <br /> development of such lots without a conditional development permit <br /> represents a current and immediate threat to the public health, <br /> safety and welfare;- and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission is considering the adoption <br /> of an ordinance requiring conditional developip.ent permits for <br /> lots with a human habitation setback; and <br /> WHEREAS, Government Code Section 65858 (a) allows the City to <br /> extend an interim ordinance for ten months and fifteen days <br /> subsequent to a public hearing and upon a four-fifths vote; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos <br /> Hills does ORDAIN as follows: <br /> SECTION 1. Extension of Urgency ordinance. Ordinance <br /> No. 337, adopted as an urgency ordinance by a four-fifths vote on <br /> August 15, 1990 to require conditional development permits for <br /> lots with a human habitation zetback is hereby extended for ten <br /> months and fifteen days, to August 15, 1991, unless sooner <br /> repealed by the City Council. <br /> SECTION 2. Report. At least ten (10) days prior to the <br /> expiration of this interim ordinance, the City Council shall <br /> issue a written report pursuant to Government Code Section <br /> 65858 (d) describing the measures it has taken to alleviate the <br /> conditions which have lead to the adoption of this ordinance. <br /> This ordinance was passed at a regular meeting of the <br /> Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills on a four-fifths vote of <br /> all Councilmembers present at that meeting, as follows: <br />
