ORDINANCE NO. 340 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE 4 OF TITLE 6 RELATING. TO PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIALS PROCESSING Vf WHEREAS," the Town wants to` c6riform''the''Sewer` Usage, Article to the provisions of the City of Palo Alto ordinance relating to photographic materials processing. NOW, THEREFORE,. the City .Council of the -Town of Los Altos Hills does -'ORDAIN' as follows: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF CODE. ' Chapter 4, Article 4 of Title 6, .Section 6-4.401 (Definitions) of- the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code ' is hereby- amended 'by. adding new subsection (q) and renumbering subsections ` (q) and (r) to -new subsections (r) and (s) , to read as follows: (q) !'Storm Drains" shall mean ,'the system of pipes and channels used to convey storm water'. (r) "Storm Water" shall mean the flow in sewers resulting from rainwater. (s) "Unpolluted Water" means water to which no constituent has been added, either unintentionally or accidentally, that would render such water unacceptable for disposal to storm or natural drainages or directly to surface waters. SECTION 2. AMENDMENT OF CODE. -Chapter 4, 'Article 4 of Title 6, Section 6-4.410 (Limitations on Points of Discharge and Prohibited Discharge) of the Los Altos'`Hills Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 6=4.410. Limitations on Points of Discharge and Prohibited Discharge. No person :sh"ki1 discharge any substances directly` into ,a manhole or other -opening in a 'di ty sewer, other .than through an approved building sewer. ' No person shall discharge any domestic=waste -or industrial waste into storm drains. _. .. _ . SECTION 3 . AMENDMENT OF CODE.
