shall verbally notify the EPA, the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board and the City Engineer as soon as <br /> possible, but in no event later than 24 hours after <br /> such discharge. <br /> Appropriate records of hazardous waste disposal <br /> manifests, inventories of stored virgin and used <br /> hazardous materials and other documentation as required <br /> by state or federal law shall be kept and made <br /> available for inspection and/or copying at the request <br /> of the City. <br /> Mercaptans and dissolved sulfides shall not be discharged in <br /> concentrations exceeding 0 .1 mg/liter. <br /> SECTION 4. AMENDMENT OF CODE. Section 6-4 .420 of the Los <br /> Altos Hills Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 6-4.420 Construction requirements. <br /> The owner of every new commercial and industrial <br /> building or portion thereof for which a building permit <br /> is issued on or after July 1, 1992 must cause such <br /> building to be constructed so that industrial waste is <br /> segregated, by means of separate plumbing, from <br /> domestic waste prior to converging with other <br /> wastestreams in the sanitary sewer system. For the <br /> purposes of this section only, the term "new" shall <br /> mean and apply to all of the .following: newly <br /> constructed buildings; building additions that require <br /> plumbing for industrial waste; and remodeling of <br /> existing buildings to accommodate expansion of or <br /> change to a use that requires plumbing for industrial <br /> waste. <br /> SECTION S. AMENDMENT OF CODE. Section 6-4.423 (Copper- <br /> Based Root Control Systems) is hereby added to Chapter 4, <br /> Article 4 of Title 6 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Sec. 6.423 Copper-based root control chemicals. <br /> No person shall discharge, dispose of or add to the <br /> sanitary sewer system or to the storm sewer any substance <br /> containing greater than five percent copper by weight, to <br /> control roots or for any other purpose. <br /> SECTION 6. AMENDMENT OF CODE. Section 6-4.424 of <br /> Chapter 4, Article 4 of Title 6 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal <br /> Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 6-4.424 Grease Disposal Prohibited. <br /> 6 - <br />
