CALL TO ORDER,ROLL CALL, AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Mayor Kerr called the City Council Regular Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Council <br /> Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Breene Kerr, Mayor Pro Tem Dean Warshawsky, Councilmember <br /> Jean Mordo and Councilmember Mike O'Malley <br /> Absent: Councilmember Craig A. T. Jones <br /> Staff: City Manager Maureen Cassingham, City Attorney Steve Mattas, Planning <br /> Director Carl Cahill, Director of Public Works/City Engineer Henry Louie, <br /> Parks and Recreation Supervisor Jimmy Forbis and City Clerk Karen Jost <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by O'Malley, seconded by <br /> • Warshawsky and passed unanimously to limit the length of time for public comments to <br /> three minutes. <br /> 2. APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> 3. PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT <br /> Planning Director Carl Cahill reported that the Planning Commission had met on August <br /> 11, 2005 and considered and approved four applications, including: a site development <br /> permit for tennis court and pavilion; a site development permit for an agricultural <br /> accessory building; a conditional development permit for an addition that required the <br /> removal of two heritage oak trees to allow for a required fire truck turnaround; and, a <br /> request for an exception to the 25 foot structure setback for creek. Cahill noted that the <br /> creek was a man made landscape water feature. <br /> 4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Mordo, seconded by Warshawsky <br /> and passed unanimously to approve the Consent Calendar, specifically: <br /> 4.1 Approval of Minutes: Regular City Special Meeting August 3, 2005 <br /> 4.2 Review of Disbursements: 07/27/2005—08/10/2005 $925,688.71 <br /> • <br /> 1 <br /> City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> August 18,2005 <br />
