CALL TO ORDER,ROLL CALL, AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Mayor O'Malley called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. in <br /> the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Mike O'Malley, Mayor Pro Tem Breene Kerr, Councilmember <br /> Craig A. T. Jones, Councilmember Jean Mordo and Councilmember Dean <br /> Warshawsky <br /> Absent: None <br /> Staff: City Manager Maureen Cassingham, City Attorney Steve Mattas, Planning <br /> Director Carl Cahill, Administrative Services Director Sarah Joiner, Public <br /> • Works Director/City Engineer Henry Louie, Consulting Engineer Dave <br /> Ross, Parks and Recreation Supervisor Jimmy Forbis and City Clerk <br /> Karen Jost <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Warshawsky, seconded by Mordo <br /> and passed unanimously to limit the length of time for public comments to three minutes. <br /> Mayor O'Malley announced that the Special Meeting would convene immediately <br /> following the conclusion of the Regular City Council meeting. <br /> 2. APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> 2.1 Appointment to the Finance and Investment Committee <br /> Council had before them an application from Stanley Mok for appointment to the Finance <br /> and Investment Committee. Council briefly interviewed Mok and noted that his expertise <br /> as a Financial Advisor would be an asset to the Committee. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Mordo, seconded by Kerr and <br /> passed unanimously to appoint Stanley Mok to the Finance and Investment Committee <br /> for a term of four years. <br /> • <br /> 1 <br /> City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> June 2,2005 <br />
