CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Kerr called the Special City Council Meeting/New Town Hall <br /> Committee Special Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of Town <br /> Hall's Temporary Offices at Bullis School. <br /> Present: Mayor Mike O'Malley, Mayor Pro Tem Breene Kerr, Councilmember Jean <br /> Mordo (departed 6:40 pm), Councilmember Dean Warshawsky (departed 7:55 <br /> pm), Planning Commissioner Carl Cottrell (departed 7:55 pm), Planning <br /> Commissioner Bill Kerns and Committee Members Jim Downey, Vicki <br /> Oldberg(arrived 6:40 pm), John Radford (departed 8:45 pm) and Al Whaley <br /> Absent: None <br /> Staff. City Manager Maureen Cassingham, Administrative Services Director Sarah <br /> Joiner, Planning Director Carl Cahill, Senior Planner Debbie Pedro and City <br /> Clerk Karen Jost <br /> 2 APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Warshawsky, seconded by Radford <br /> and passed unanimously to approve the minutes of the January 13, 2005 Special City <br /> Council/New Town Hall Committee Meeting. <br /> 3. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 3.1 Discussion of the Wireless Communications Antenna Mounted Inside a 50' <br /> Tall Flagpole and Associated Ground Equipment at Town Hall Site <br /> Senior Planner Debbie Pedro introduced this item to the Committee and explained that <br /> the discussion was being presented to the Committee due to the time sensitivity of the <br /> proposal and its possible impact on the new Town Hall landscaping and hardscape <br /> construction. Pedro presented a brief overview of the project noting that the applicants <br /> had met with neighbors prior to the Planning Commission public hearing and it was <br /> believed that all of their concerns had been addressed.
