RESOLUTION 64-19 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF <br />LOS ALTOS HILLS AUTHORIZING DECEMBER 26-27,2019 <br />HOLIDAY CLOSURE OF TOWN OPERATIONS AND PAID <br />HOLIDAY ON DECEMBER 23, 2019 <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills elects to implement a holiday closure for the period <br />December 23, 2019 through December 27, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town Hall closure is proposed for December 26-27, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, Town employees will have the opportunity to participate in office cleanup to archive <br />paper and electronic files, including email; and <br />WHEREAS, Town employees may choose to take paid or unpaid leave during the entire or part of <br />the office closure dates of December 26 and December 27; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills elects to implement a paid holiday for December 23, 2019 <br />for this year only; and <br />WHEREAS, Emergency and urgent Code Enforcement services will remain available upon request <br />through Santa Clara County Communications Dispatch; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Maintenance personnel will remain "on call" during the closure <br />period to respond to any weather-related incidents or other emergencies; and <br />WHEREAS, the Building inspection services will remain available upon appointment request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town Management may schedule employees to work due to other unforeseen <br />operational demands; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby resolves to authorize <br />the paid holiday of Town Hall for December 23, 2019 and holiday closure of Town Hall from <br />December 26 through December 27, 2019. <br />The above and foregoing Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los <br />Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of October 2019, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Spreen, Wu, Corrigan, Tankha, Tyson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />BY: <br />Rog preen, Mayor <br />Resolution 64-19 Page 1 <br />
