RESOLUTION 57-20 <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD CONTRACT FOR THE PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT <br />SERVICES FOR THE UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NEAR THE EL MONTE <br />FIRE STATION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works for Town of Los Altos Hills has consulted with PG&E <br />and determined that the City has accumulated Rule 20A work credits and PG&E has agreed that <br />the City may borrow against future credits as part of the funding required for the proposed <br />overhead to underground conversion project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills has adopted a resolution designating the Underground <br />Utility District in the area around the El Monte Fire Station within which all existing overhead <br />poles, overhead wires and overhead equipment associated with the distribution of electric power, <br />telecommunication services and cable television should be removed and replaced with <br />underground wires and facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Director advertised the Request for Proposal for professional <br />consultant services for the Underground Utility District in the area around the El Monte Fire <br />Station; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Director thoroughly evaluated each proposal and determined <br />Bellecci & Associates as the consultant with the qualifications and expertise to complete the <br />project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br />that the City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract to Bellecci & Associates for a not - <br />to -exceed amount of $252,462. <br />The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of <br />Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of October 2020 by the following vote: <br />AYES: <br />Wu, Tanlcha, Corrigan, Spreen, Tyson <br />NOES: <br />None <br />ABSTAIN: <br />None <br />ABSENT: <br />None <br />BY: <br />Michelle Wu, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />eborah Padovan, City Clerlc <br />Resolution 57-20 Page I <br />
