RESOLUTION 57-20 RESOLUTION TO AWARD CONTRACT FOR THE PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR THE UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NEAR THE EL MONTE FIRE STATION PROJECT WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works for Town of Los Altos Hills has consulted with PG&E and determined that the City has accumulated Rule 20A work credits and PG&E has agreed that the City may borrow against future credits as part of the funding required for the proposed overhead to underground conversion project; and WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills has adopted a resolution designating the Underground Utility District in the area around the El Monte Fire Station within which all existing overhead poles, overhead wires and overhead equipment associated with the distribution of electric power, telecommunication services and cable television should be removed and replaced with underground wires and facilities; and WHEREAS, the Public Works Director advertised the Request for Proposal for professional consultant services for the Underground Utility District in the area around the El Monte Fire Station; and WHEREAS, the Public Works Director thoroughly evaluated each proposal and determined Bellecci & Associates as the consultant with the qualifications and expertise to complete the project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that the City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract to Bellecci & Associates for a not - to -exceed amount of $252,462.
