Town of Los Altos Hills <br />City Council Special Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday, April 28, 2021— 3:30 p.m. <br />Council Chambers, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, <br />California <br />CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL <br />Via teleconference according to the Governor's Executive Order N-29-20, Mayor Tankha called <br />the City Council Regular Meeting to order at 3:32 p.m. <br />Present: Mayor Kavita Tankha, Vice Mayor George Tyson, Councilmember Stanley Q. <br />Mok, Councilmember Lisa H. Schmidt, Councilmember Linda Swan <br />Absent: None <br />Staff: City Manager Carl Cahill, City Attorney Steve Mattas, Interim Engineering <br />Services Manager/Planning and Building Director Zach Dahl, Administrative <br />Services Director Sarina Revillar, Management Analyst Cody Einfalt, City Clerk <br />Deborah Padovan <br />1. PUBLIC COMMENT (Public Comment is Limited to Items which are the Subiect of <br />the Special Meeting) <br />Public Comment was taken under Agenda Item #2.A. <br />2. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Resolution to Enter into Agreements with Three Jurisdictions to Purchase 4,323,712 <br />Rule 20a Work Credits to Complete the Town's Undergrounding Project for An <br />Amount of $2,012,240 <br />Interim Engineering Services Manager Zach Dahl presented the staff report. <br />Vice Mayor Tyson provided background information on the California Public <br />Utilities Commission actions and PG&E. He said that he is strongly advocating that <br />we proceed with this course of action to execute the MOU's and purchase the credits. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />Mayor Tankha announced that she had a conflict of interest. She recused herself <br />from the discussion and left the meeting at 3:56 p.m. <br />Public Comment <br />Allan Epstein, Los Altos Hills, asked what the total out-of-pocket cost would be to <br />the Town. <br />City Council Special Meeting Minutes <br />April 28, 2021 <br />
