RESOLUTION 44-22 RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH FULL CIRCLE CATERING FOR TOWN PICNIC LUNCHES AND REAPPROPRIATE $20,000 FROM THE COMMITTEE'S BUDGET TO THE SPECIAL EVENTS BUDGET WHEREAS, the City Council identified Community Events as a 2022 Council priority and highlighted the Town Picnic as a key milestone; and WHEREAS, there is a desire to return to the pre -pandemic format of the Town Picnic; and WHEREAS, on the March 29, 2022, Community Relations Committee special meeting, staff presented along with the catering vendors who provided quotes for the June 5, 2022 Town Picnic: and WHEREAS, the Community Relations Committee and staff came to a similar conclusion that Full Circle Catering was the most responsive bid and had a proposal that was demonstrated a willingness and ability to meet the demands of the community and committee; and WHEREAS, the scope of work includes serving and catering lunch with the menu of chicken, hot dogs, veggie burgers, vegetarian beans, green salad, and garlic bread for 1500-2000 attendees at the Town Picnic on Sunday, June 5th from 12:30-4:00pm at Purissima Park; and WHEREAS, due to the rising costs a reappropriation of $20,000 from the Committee's budget to the Special Events budget: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that; 7. Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to enter into an Agreement with Full Circle Catering for Town Picnic lunches and reappropriate $20,000 from the Committee's budget to the Special Events budget. The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of April 2022 by the following vote: AYES: Tyson, Swan, Mok, Schmidt, Tankha NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None BY: George Tyson, MaAr Resolution 44-22 Page 1
