1 City Council Special Meeting Minutes June 16, 2021 CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL Via teleconference according to the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20, Mayor Tankha called the City Council Regular Meeting to order at 1:06 p.m. Present: Mayor Kavita Tankha, Vice Mayor George Tyson, Councilmember Stanley Q. Mok, Councilmember Lisa H. Schmidt, Councilmember Linda Swan Absent: None Staff: City Manager Carl Cahill, City Attorney Steve Mattas, Management Analyst Cody Einfalt, City Clerk Deborah Padovan 1. PUBLIC COMMENT (Public Comment is Limited to Items which are the Subject of the Special Meeting) Public Comment was taken under Agenda Item #2.F. 2. NEW BUSINESS A. Staff Report City Attorney Steve Mattas said all of the firms will introduce themselves and provide background on their experience. B. Avery Associates – 1:10 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Paul Kimura, Avery & Associates, introduced himself and provided his background to the City Council. He responded to questions from the Council and suggested taking input via an online survey for residents. C. Ralph Andersen & Associates – 1:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. Fred Wilson, Ralph Anderson & Associates, introduced himself and provided his background to the City Council. He responded to questions from the City Council and informed them that he handled the recent recruitment for the Los Altos City Manager. He has a current list of candidates that may be interested in the Los Altos Hills City Manager position. D.
