RESOLUTION 03-23 A RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR CONSTRUCTION, AND APPROVING SEWER CONSTRUCTION AND DEDICATION AGREEMENT FOR THE 25750 VINEDO LANE SANITARY SEWER MAIN EXTENSION PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to Los Altos Hills Municipal Code Section 6-4.446, sewer main facilities may be extended by an applicant in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the City Engineer; and, WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills received an application from the property owner at 25750 Vinedo Lane for the Vinedo Lane Sanitary Sewer Main Extension Project at applicant's sole cost and expense for the benefit of applicant; WHEREAS, the applicant does not intend to enter into a reimbursement agreement with the Town but desires to dedicate the Vinedo Lane Sanitary Sewer Main Extension to the Town upon completion of construction; and, WHEREAS, Town staff prepared the Sewer Construction and Dedication Agreement for the proposed work to ensure that the ownership and maintenance responsibilities of the newly constructed sewer are transferred to the Town; and, WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed the application and plans for the project, and recommends that the Council approve the application and the Sewer Construction and Dedication Agreement for the proposed sewer improvements; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby: 1. Approve the application for construction of the 25750 Vinedo Lane Sanitary Sewer Main Extension Project. 2. Approve the Sewer Construction and Dedication Agreement for the 25750 Vinedo Lane Sanitary Sewer Main Extension Project. The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills at a special meeting held on the 24th day of January 2023, by the following vote: AYES: Swan, Mok, Schmidt, Tyson NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: Tankha AT T• Deborah Padovan, City Clerk By• inda Swan, Mayor Resolution 03-23 Page 1
