RESOLUTION 06-23 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />ACCEPTING AN OFFER OF RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT DEDICATION <br />(LANDS OF RAJWAR) <br />WHEREAS, Ravi Rajwar and Nathalie Rajwar, Trustees of The Rajwar Family Revocable Trust <br />("Owners"), own the property commonly known as 26880 Ortega Drive, Los Altos Hills, California <br />(APN 1475-33-020); and <br />WHEREAS, site development permit (SD22-0006) for a major addition was approved at a duly <br />noticed Fast Trach public hearing of the Site Development Committee on August 2, 2022 with <br />reasonable conditions of approval, including the dedication of additional right-of-way to the Town; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Town has adopted a general Plan and, pursuant thereto, may require and accept <br />right-of-way dedications on privately owned lands lying within the Town; and . <br />WHEREAS, the Owner has offered to dedicate additional right-of-way to the Town attached to this <br />Resolution as Attachment A ("Offer of Right -of --Way Easement Dedication") for street right-of-way <br />purposes and incidents thereto; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town finds the Offer of Right -of -Way Easement Dedication to be consistent with <br />the Town's General Plan and in the best interests of the general public and the Town; and <br />WHEREAS, the Owner and the Town recognize that the land subject to the Offer of Right -of -Way <br />Easement Dedication is adjacent to an existing public right-of-way and is necessary to create a 30 - <br />foot half width for the 60 -foot right-of-way and is an asset to the Town and the Owner; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does <br />hereby accepts on behalf of the public, and for the purposes therein described, the Offer of Right -of - <br />Way Easement Dedication attached to this Resolution as Attachment A. <br />The above and foregoing Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los <br />Altos Hills at a special meeting held on the 24th day of January, 2023, b the following vote: <br />y g <br />AYES: Swan, Mok, Schmidt, Tyson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Tankha <br />BY: <br />Linda Swan, Mayor <br />ATTEST: -- <br />Deborah L.
