RESOLUTION 19-23 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO TRIPEPI SMITH AGREEMENT INCREASING THE NOT EXCEED AMOUNT TO $50,000 FOR MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING $50,000 FROM THE UNRESERVED GENERAL FUND FOR FY 2022-23 WHEREAS, the Town and Contractor previously entered into an agreement for communication support dated August 19, 2022; and WHEREAS, the initial agreement had a not to exceed limit of Twenty -Five Thousand dollars and no cents ($25,000.00) and consisted of the following deliverables: quarterly newsletter design (one-time), design and layout of quarterly newsletter (ongoing), and website support; and WHEREAS, the Town is now interested in expanding on the services from the contractor to include messaging and public information management related to topics where the Town needs to manage the content and quality of public information being shared and misinterpreted by the public; and WHEREAS, to account for the increase in scope, the not to exceed limit of the agreement shall be increased to Fifty Thousand dollars and no cents ($50,000.00); and WHEREAS, $50,000 shall be appropriated from the unreserved general fund to FY2022-23 to cover the expense. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the First Amendment to the Tripepi Smith Agreement increasing the not exceed amount to $50,000 for media and communication services and appropriating $50,000 from the unreserved general fund for FY 2022-23. The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on 16th of February 2023 by the following vote: AYES: Swan, Mok, Schmidt, Tankha, Tyson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None By: y__ - Linda G.
