RESOLUTION 19-23 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE FIRST <br />AMENDMENT TO TRIPEPI SMITH AGREEMENT INCREASING THE NOT <br />EXCEED AMOUNT TO $50,000 FOR MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION SERVICES <br />AND APPROPRIATING $50,000 FROM THE UNRESERVED GENERAL FUND FOR <br />FY 2022-23 <br />WHEREAS, the Town and Contractor previously entered into an agreement for communication <br />support dated August 19, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, the initial agreement had a not to exceed limit of Twenty -Five Thousand dollars and <br />no cents ($25,000.00) and consisted of the following deliverables: quarterly newsletter design <br />(one-time), design and layout of quarterly newsletter (ongoing), and website support; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town is now interested in expanding on the services from the contractor to <br />include messaging and public information management related to topics where the Town needs <br />to manage the content and quality of public information being shared and misinterpreted by the <br />public; and <br />WHEREAS, to account for the increase in scope, the not to exceed limit of the agreement shall <br />be increased to Fifty Thousand dollars and no cents ($50,000.00); and <br />WHEREAS, $50,000 shall be appropriated from the unreserved general fund to FY2022-23 to <br />cover the expense. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby authorizes the City <br />Manager to execute the First Amendment to the Tripepi Smith Agreement increasing the not <br />exceed amount to $50,000 for media and communication services and appropriating $50,000 from <br />the unreserved general fund for FY 2022-23. <br />The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of <br />Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on 16th of February 2023 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Swan, Mok, Schmidt, Tankha, Tyson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />By: y__ - <br />Linda G.
