RESOLUTION 80-23 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS REPEALING RESOLUTION 24-22 RELATED TO THE COVID-19 TESTING AND VACCINE POLICY WHEREAS, on February 17, 2022, the Town of Los Altos Hills adopted Resolution 24-22 establishing a COVID-19 testing and vaccination policy (Policy); and WHEREAS, the Policy was adopted shortly after the Santa Clara County Health Officer issued an order requiring up to date COVID-19 vaccinations for workers in certain high-risk settings as a result of a rapid surge in cases due to the Omicron variant; and WHEREAS, the Policy requires vaccinations and up to date boosters for all Town employees, Councilmembers, and Planning Commissioners who utilize Town facilities on a regular basis, and is also applicable to prospective employees of the Town; and WHEREAS, the Town is now operating in a post -pandemic environment and continues to adjust operations accordingly; and WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to repeal Resolution 24-22 to rescind the Policy and no longer require COVID-19 vaccinations for Town employees, Councilmembers, Planning Commissioners, or prospective employees of the Town. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby repeals Resolution 24-22 related to the COVID-19 testing and vaccination policy. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon adoption by the City Council. The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills at an adjourned regular meeting held on 28th of September 2023 by the following vote: AYES: Swan, Mok, Schmidt, Tankha, Tyson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None ATTEST: oltv'-11,41 - 17(__ eborah L.
