PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT <br /> Planning Director Carl Cahill reported that the Planning Commission had met twice since <br /> the last City Council meeting, respectively on July 22, 2004 and August 12, 2004. At the <br /> July 22, 2004 meeting, the Planning Commission had considered two public hearing <br /> items: Lands of Alon, a request for a site development permit for a new residence and <br /> Lands of Jessen, a request for a site development permit and a conditional use permit for <br /> an addition and variance for two required parking spaces. Lands of Alon was continued <br /> with the applicant directed to redesign the house or nest it into the hill a minimum of ten <br /> feet. Cahill noted that this application had significant neighborhood interest and <br /> opposition to the home.
