No
more than three (3) members of the Committee may be both (a) a parent of a child
between the ages of four and twelve, and (b) a resident of the Bullis School boundary area
of the Los Altos Unified School District.
MOTION SECONDED AND FAILED: Moved by O'Malley, seconded by Kerr, and
failed to amend Standing Committee Resolution 58-03 to increase the membership of the
Public Education Committee to eight(8).
Mayor Cheng noted that it was important to have a fair representation on the Committee.
MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by O'Malley, seconded by Kerr and
passed unanimously to amend Standing Committee Resolution 58-03 to increase the
membership of the Public Education Committee from seven(7)to nine (9).
6 City Council Meeting Minutes
August 7,2003
