CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Mayor Casey called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 6:05 p.m. in <br /> the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Casey and Councilmembers Cheng, Fenwick and <br /> O'Malley <br /> Absent: Councilmember Finn <br /> Staff: City Manager Maureen Cassingham, City Attorney Sandy <br /> Sloan, Public Works Director/City Engineer Mintze Cheng, <br /> • Planning Director Carl Cahill, Planning Consultant Drummond <br /> Buckley and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: Liz Cloutman,Los Altos Town Crier <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Fenwick, seconded by O'Malley <br /> and passed unanimously by all members present to add the following items to the <br /> agenda as urgency items: Adoption of a resolution awarding a contract for the <br /> replacement/repair of a retaining wall on Elena Road and Approval of a conceptual <br /> design for the new Town Hall. <br /> Casey also noted that item 6.1 and 11.5 would be discussed together as the issues <br /> were related. <br /> Casey referred to the recent Town-wide mailing requesting residents' email addresses <br /> and/or fax numbers so they could be contacted in emergency situations. Casey noted <br /> that recently there had been a burglary on Normandy Lane and she cautioned residents <br /> to be careful. She also stated that this was the type of information that would be sent <br /> to alert residents. <br /> 2.
