She proposed an "organic" Fourth of <br /> July parade for residents and their families. The parade would start at 10 am at Town <br /> Hall and proceed along Fremont Road to Bullis-Gardner campus with its conclusion at <br /> noon. Corrigan volunteered to coordinate the parade and provide watermelon for the <br /> participants. <br /> Council thanked Corrigan for presenting the unique idea and endorsed her proposal. <br /> Direction was given to staff to work with her to ensure the safety of the parade <br /> participants. It was suggested that the Parks and Recreation Committee could be of <br /> assistance in planning the event.
