Items not considered were continued to a future City <br /> Council meeting. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> • 1. Certificate of Commendation—Carl Cottrell <br /> Mayor Warshawsky presented former Planning Commissioner Carl Cottrell with a <br /> Certificate of Appreciation for his service to the Town. Cottrell had served as a Planning <br /> Commissioner for three consecutive four year terms. Cottrell had also been a key <br /> participant in the Town's General Plan Update process and a member of the New Town <br /> Hall Committee that had been responsible for the development of the new facility. <br /> 2. Administration of Oath to Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) <br /> Volunteers <br /> The City Clerk administered the Oath of Alligance to CERT Volunteers Kalen Gruber, <br /> Davy Davidson, Tim Mechikoff, Andy Gurrola, Gina Bertolino, Anne Raphael, Tracy <br /> Warren and Mark Warren. Council thanked them for their dedication to the program and <br /> service to the community. <br /> 3. Appointments to Standing Committees: <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Mordo, seconded by Summit and <br /> passed unanimously to appoint resident Wendie Ward to the Standing Open Space <br /> Committee for a term of four years. <br /> • <br /> 2 Approved City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> July 23,2009 <br />
