Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> City Council Special Meeting Minutes <br /> Thursday, July 24 2008 <br /> Y <br /> Council Chambers, 26379 Fremont Road <br /> CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Mayor Mordo called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. in the <br /> Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Jean Mordo, Councilmember Craig A. T. Jones, Councilmember <br /> Breene Kerr and Councilmember Mike O'Malley, <br /> Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Dean Warshawsky <br /> Staff: City Manager Carl Cahill, City Engineer/Public Works Director Richard <br /> Chiu, Finance Director Nick Pegueros, Planning Director Debbie Pedro, <br /> Parks and Recreation Supervisor Eric Christensen, City Attorney Steve <br /> Mattas, City Clerk Karen Jost <br /> PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> • No comments from the floor. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Consideration of a Resolution of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> Authorizing the City Manager or City Manager's Designee to Sign Right-Of-Way <br /> Certifications in Connection with State and Federally Funded Projects. <br /> City Engineer/Public Works Director Richard Chiu introduced the item to Council. The <br /> Town has applied and is qualified to receive Federal funds for projects including the <br /> Fremont Road Pavement Rehabilitation and the El Monte Road pathway. Certification by <br /> the Town that the right-of-ways necessary for the projects will or have been acquired is a <br /> requirement of federal and state funding. Council had before them a resolution that would <br /> authorize the City Manager and Director of Public Works to execute the necessary <br /> certifications. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Kerr, seconded by O'Malley and <br /> passed unanimously to adopt Resolution No. 48-08 "Authorizing the City Manager and <br /> Director of Public Works to Execute Right-of-Way Certifications." <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> • There being no further business, the Special City Council Meeting was adjourned by <br /> consensus of the City Council at 6:59 p.m. <br /> City Council Special Meeting Minutes <br /> July 24,2008 <br />
