CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL <br /> Mayor Warshawsky called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in the <br /> Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Dean Warshawsky, Mayor Pro Tem Craig A.T. Jones, <br /> Councilmember Jean Mordo and Councilmember Mike O'Malley <br /> Absent: Councilmember Breene Kerr, <br /> Staff City Manager Carl Cahill, City Attorney Steve Mattas, Administrative <br /> Services Director Sarah Ragsdale, Public Works Director/City Engineer <br /> Henry Louie, Planning Director Debbie Pedro, Parks and Recreation <br /> Supervisor Tod McLemore and City Clerk Karen Jost <br /> • 2. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 2.1 Consideration of Council Resolution Regarding Endorsement of the Process <br /> of Formal Facilitated Discussions with the School Districts Affected by <br /> Resolution 42-06 <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Jones introduced this item to Council. Council had the draft resolution <br /> before them. Jones reviewed the resolution and offered that the substance of the <br /> proposed resolution was simple but powerful. The resolution recognized the guidance that <br /> had been given by the SCCOE County Committee and reflected the Council's willingness <br /> to enter into formal talks with the school districts. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Mordo, seconded by O'Malley and <br /> passed unanimously to approve Resolution 41-07. <br /> 3. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> None <br /> 4. ADJOURNMENT <br /> • There being no further business,the Special City Council meeting was adjourned by <br /> consensus at 8:05 p.m. <br /> City Council Special Meeting <br /> January 11,2007 <br />
