CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br /> Mayor Finn called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 6:10 p.m. in the <br /> Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Finn and Councilmembers Casey, Cheng and Dauber <br /> Absent: Councilmember Johnson <br /> Staff: Acting City Manager Bob Quinlan, City Attorney Sandy Sloan, <br /> • Planning Director Carl Cahill, Public Works Manager Jim Rasp <br /> and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: Shobha Rao, Los Altos Town Crier <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dauber, seconded by Casey and passed <br /> unanimously by all members present to add an urgency item to the agenda: Discussion of City <br /> Manager Recruitment added to Closed Session. <br /> 2. APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> 2.1 Appointments to Pathways Committee, Safety Committee and the Valley <br /> Transportation Authority Bicycle Advisory Committee <br /> Council had received three applications for the Pathways Committee from Barbara Arden, <br /> Charlene Geers and David Stahl. In addition the following members of the committee <br /> who had served for more than four years had stated their interest in being considered for <br /> reappointment: Diane Barrager, Les Earnest, Sylvia Jensen and Bob Stutz. There were <br /> four vacancies on the committee. <br /> Diane Barrager, 13220 Robleda, stated that she had been on the committee about six <br /> years, had enjoyed working on this committee and wished to be considered for <br /> reappointment. <br /> September 7, 2000 <br /> Regular City Council Meeting <br /> 1 <br />
