Ginzton, Vice -Chairman, Los Altos Hills Pathways <br />Committee, letter dated July 19, 1966,° „ Deferred to end of Agenda.. <br />VARIANCES <br />1, Carson M. Kel (V-263-66) - Request for Reduction in Setback <br />Requir�te-tContinued from July 11th meeting.) <br />City Clerk reported that the two previous objections from K„ E <br />Phillips and Mr. and Mrs. A. D. MacDonald have been rescinded, <br />however, two new letters of objection have been received from <br />Mr., and Mrs, Le B, Nelson and R. W, Hei.msoth and read by Chair- <br />man Hibner, Mro D. M, Fleming was present acid reaffirmed his <br />objections as stated at the July 11th meeting. Above residents <br />reside on Esperanza Drive, <br />Mr, Carson was present and stated his plans to Put new siding <br />on the cottage, change the color and make the roof of the garages <br />one level; however, he could not commit himself to a limitation <br />of its. existence in view of the unforseeable future.. <br />Following discussion on the objections of the neighbors and <br />the perpetuation of the structure, the Planning Commission <br />considered the variance on its own merits since the request <br />was for a reduction in setback and not an appraisal of the <br />buildings, <br />
