In response to a suggestion <br /> from Dauber that a computerized pathway maintenance program would help,the Public Works <br /> Manager stated that one was in place. The City Manager noted there was a detailed procedure <br /> involved if the Town planned to increase fees (impose new in lieu fees). It was agreed that the <br /> Finance Committee would be advised what was involved so they would have this information <br /> when they reviewed the planning and building fees at their October 4 'meeting.. The committee <br /> members noted that they had submitted a report with their recommendations on in lieu fees some <br /> time ago and it should be on file. Council directed the Pathways Committee and staff to look into <br /> different options for pathway materials and also agreed to agendize Les Earnest's memo on <br /> Town entrance signs. <br /> 7. Receive appointment of bicycle representative to local Cal Trans <br /> District <br /> 8. Develop a system of monitoring pathway maintenance <br /> The Pathways Committee members expressed concerns about the paths in Town that have <br /> sprinklers, landscaping, etc. on them. They also noted that oftentimes when the roads in Town <br /> were resurfaced the paths disappeared. It was suggested that the committee work with the Public <br /> Works Manager on these issues. <br /> 3. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> • 4.
