CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br /> Mayor Johnson called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 6:05 p.m. in <br /> the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Johnson and Councilmembers Casey, Dauber, Finn and <br /> Siegel <br /> Absent: None <br /> Staff: City Manager/City Engineer Jeff Peterson, City Attorney Sandy <br /> Sloan, Planning Director Curtis Williams, Public Works Manager <br /> Jim Rasp and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: Carol Tiegs, Los Altos Town Crier <br /> 2. APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> • 2.1 Appointment to Pathways Recreation and Parks Committee <br /> Since the applicant for the Pathways Recreation and Parks Committee was not present due to <br /> illness, it was agreed to continue this appointment to a meeting which she would be able to <br /> attend. <br /> 3. PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT <br /> The Planning Director reported that the following items had been discussed at the 12/9/98 <br /> Planning Commission Meeting: Lands of Rabbani, 25630 Darling Lane: approved request for a <br /> modification to delete a condition of approval requiring the installation of a fire hydrant; Lands <br /> of Patmore and Zarcone, 27690 Central Drive: approved request for a site development permit <br /> for a 3,551 square foot new residence (maximum height 21 feet), including parking and storage <br /> areas; and recommended approval of an ordinance requiring a minimum of two parking spaces to <br /> be enclosed in a garage. The following two items were continued to the 1/13/99 Planning <br /> Commission Meeting: Lands of Denny and Ventura, 25400 and 25398 La Loma Drive—request <br /> for a lot line adustment and Lands of St.Nicholas School, 12816 El Monte Avenue: request for a <br /> site development permit and an amendment to a conditional use permit for additions of 3,688 <br /> square feet for a science classroom, expanded daycare and restrooms with a maximum height of <br /> 17'9" and a negative declaration. <br /> 4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dauber, seconded by Siegel and passed <br /> unanimously to approve the Consent Calendar, specifically: <br /> January 6, 1999 <br /> Regular City Council Meeting <br /> 1 <br />
