P;. by C:airman :,, F. <br />Ninckley at the Town Hall, 26375 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, C,^lifornia. <br />ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Commissioners Bowler, Hibner, Lachenbruc;; Prentice, <br />Sherlock, Chairman Minckley <br />ABSENT: None <br />APPROVAL OF P+iIAWS: April 10, 1967 <br />Correction: P. 2, Committee Reports, Item 1, correct <br />name of Committee to "Geological Study Committee". <br />ACTION: <br />That tae Minutes of April 10, 1,67 be approved <br />as corrected. <br />MOTION: Lac:.,enbruch, SECOND: Bowler <br />VOTE. Chairman Ninckley announced the meeting of the Planning Policy Committee <br />of Santa Clara County to be held Thursday, April 27, 1967, ami as Planning <br />Zepresentative for file Town -ill propose that monthly zoning meetings be <br />;,eld either before or after the regular Policy Committee meetings! <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. Parks & Recreation Committee - ::`airman Gordon E. Bowler. <br />.....airman Bowler reported his Committee was unable to convene on April 1246 <br />for reason of a lack of a quorum, however, three substantial pieces of <br />information were received - 1) a leiter from Mr. Mel kidneletti, Chairman <br />of tae Los Altos Hills Little League Recreation Committee (read by <br />Chairman Bowler) indicating their needs and desires for multiple use of <br />grounds and facilities, 2) a letter from Preston 0. Burchard, Chairman of <br />Tree Committee (read by Chairman Bowler), repeating their support for <br />the school district land and point of view as to its landscaping, as well <br />as recommending acquisition of all available parcels bet,een the school <br />district land and Stanford along the Freeway as strategic open space and <br />planting area, and 3) Mr. Morse's report on his conversation 'with Mr. P. <br />Ahern, Business Manager of the Los Altos School District, relative to the <br />use of the school grounds at Eastbrook, Bullis and Purissima Schools by tie <br />Little League. <br />In view of the Planning Commission's vital interest, Chairman Bowler. was <br />o^ the opinion further committee meetings and recommendations would not be <br />significant but that it would be sufficient to bring these substantial <br />pieces of information as they stand to the Commission.
