A., at the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. Th, following <br />members were present: Commissioners Bowler, Dawson, Hibner, Lachenbruch, <br />Perkins, Snerlock and Chairman Ninckley. Absent: None. <br />Councilman ':,alter A. Benson represented the Council. <br />Ainutes of the regular meeting of June 26, 1967 were unanimously approved APPROVAL <br />as mailed upon 6otion by Commissioner Sherlock and Seconded by Commis- OF <br />sioner Hibner. I9INUTES <br />Communication addressed to Chairman u. F. Hinckley from Gordon d. COHAUNi- <br />Bowler, dated June 27, 1967, regarding General Concept for Parks, C.TIONS <br />Recreation and Open Space in Los Altos Hills, was read by Chairman <br />Minckley. <br />Communication addressed to Chairman d. F. winckley from Gordon E. <br />Bowler, dated June 15, 1967, regarding Planning for the Future of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills, was read by Chairman Mincklay. <br />Chairman 7-iinckley instructed the Secretary to forward copies of the ACTION <br />above communications to the Commissioners so that a discussion could <br />be held at a Study Session and later presented for a Public hearing, <br />since the subject matter was appropriate to consider in view of the <br />Commission's discussions on open space and future Town planning. <br />Commissioner Lachenbruch announced teat at the last meeting of the PTicl- <br />Peninsul.a Foothills Planning Committee he was elected Vice -Chairman. ANNOUNC3- <br />Slone density was discussed at this meeting, and Cam. Lachenbruch H,314TL <br />states he would take up the subject -:::atter at the Study Session. <br />Chairman :Minckley reported that the work program for the County of <br />Santa Clara Planning Policy Committee as been presented and announced <br />that he '. ,ad been appointed to the Hillside Committee, as well as tae <br />Parks and Open Spaces Committee, and he could appropriately soundout <br />the feelings around the County. He also stated that what is decided <br />by this Commission would be carried by min: to the County Planning <br />Policy Committee to hopefully tie in with County plans. <br />Staff read City :Attorney's letter dated July 10, 1967 regarding COMMITT 2 <br />Pathway Committee report on asements, which was in answer to the RaPORTS- <br />Planning Comssission's request as state2 in its Minutes of 6/25/67. CITY ATTORNEY <br />Foregoing letter was discussed, with particular reference to Para. 2, ON EASEKANTS <br />regarding general purpose easements. It was felt that perhaps the (a) <br />City Attorney aas mislead by the term "general purpose easement". <br />Chairman oinckley specifically questioned, "Can the Town use previously <br />dedicated utility easements as a dual pathway easement or is it necessary <br />to make a re -agreement?" The City I+tanager reported that the City <br />Attorney stated this can be done by recording a new and specifically <br />named easement. <br />
