PLANNING COMMISSION <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />LW MINUTES OF A REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING <br />July 24, 1967 <br />Chairaan 4. :. 14inckley called the meeting to order at 7245 P.M. <br />at the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The <br />follow- <br />ing members were present: Commissioners Bowler, Dawson, Hibner, <br />Lachenbruch, Perkins, and Chairman Minckley. Absent: Sherlock. <br />Liinutes of the regular meeting of July 10, 1967 were unanimously <br />APPROVAL <br />approved as mailed upon motion by Commissioner Perkins and <br />OF <br />seconded by Commissioner Dawson. <br />MINUTES <br />Co[amunication addressed to the Planning Commission from Carl R. <br />COMMUNI- <br />Nollcr indicating his approval of slope density zoning. <br />CATIONS <br />(1) <br />Conviissioner Sherlock arrived at 7:50 P.M. <br />Communications addressed to the City Attorney, Robin D. Faisant <br />(2) <br />from Mayor Albert T. Henley complimenting the Planning Commis- <br />sion on their action regarding the David Wheeless variance <br />application. <br />Commissioner Bowler announced the next meeting of the Santa <br />ANNOUNCE - <br />Clara County Planning Policy Committee will be Thursday, <br />MaNTS <br />July 27, 1967 at 7:30 P.M. <br />(1) <br />The City Manager reported that the Town Council has authorized <br />(2) <br />negotiations for the purchase of the Palo Alto School District <br />property on Purissimwa Road at Viseaino Road. <br />Mr. Morse also passed copies of a grading ordinance for Portola <br />(3) <br />Valley to members of the Commission for study and possible recom- <br />mendation. <br />Mr. Morse commented to the Commission that perhaps a Federal 701 (4) <br />Planning Grant for revision of the General Plan could be had if <br />the Commission were interested. Commissioners indicated that the <br />General Plan should be studied from tine to time for revision. It <br />may need some adjusting, and a review should be conducted at this <br />time. If, after the review, it is determined that the grant is <br />necessary, then it should be applied for. <br />Co2uaissioner Bowler reported the progress of the Parks and COMMITTEE <br />Recreation Committee. REPORTS <br />The City Manager reported that he is in the process of applying <br />for a federal grant for parks and open space. <br />Commissioner Lachenbruch reported that the committee studying slope <br />density has gone about as far as it can without professional help. <br />The City Manager reported that the Town is in the process of obtain- <br />ing a. professional planner. <br />
