PLANNING COI4MISSION <br />TWN OP LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A P.2GULAR MFFTING <br />September 25, 1967 <br />Chairman W. F. Minckley called the meeting to order at 7:50 P. M. at the Town <br />Hall, 26379 Tremont Poad, Los Altos Hills, California. The following members <br />answered Roll Call: Present: Commissioners Bowler, Hibner, Perkins, Sherlock, <br />Chairman Minckley. Absent: Commissioners Dawson, Lachenbruch. <br />Council was represented by Mayor. Albert T. Henley. <br />APPROVAL OF MIi4UTBS: Septe., er 11, 1967. <br />Motion: Commissioner Perkins moved, seconded by Commissioner Hibner, <br />that the Regular Minutes of September 11, 1967 be approved <br />as submitted. <br />Motion was carried by unanimous vote. <br />COTu/'M INICATIONS: <br />Paul M, Borg, 13452 Carillo Lane, enclosing a newspaper clipping announcing <br />a Notice of Hearing by the City of Palo Alto Planning Commission of a proposed <br />change of district of Stanford Lands in the vicinity of Hillview Avenue and <br />Arastradoro Road, bordering lands of Los Altos Hills, to be held 'Wednesday, <br />September 27, 1967 at 7:20 P, M., Council Chambers, Palo Alto City Hall. <br />Chairman Minckley requested the Staff to obtain all possible information <br />relative to their plan and advise whether it will be necessary for a <br />Planning Comwissionor to attend this first meeting. <br />Commissioner Hibner noted that some tiwe back a similar change of zoning in <br />this area involving long range plans of Syntex Corp, was discussed by this <br />Planning Commission and that it was the concensus of the Commission that this <br />type of development was far better than a shopping center, etc. <br />qua*TOUNC 1,1ENTS: <br />Chairman Minckley announced that a meeting of the Santa Clara County Policy <br />Planning Committee was held last evening and hopefully Were will ba informa- <br />tion from this body recardieg parks znd recreation. <br />USE Pi3RMITS: <br />ST13<3. WIVY G. 07-297-671 - Request of Secondary Dwelling on 1<--± acre parcel <br />at 11601 Buena vista u-.'.vc.. <br />Staff report dated ''entenber 25, 1567 was read as follows: 1) If kitchen <br />facilities are included in the secondary dwelling, the parcel must contain <br />1.95 acres; and 2) tho Pathways COmmittee has requested a path easement along <br />the westarly bound.:ry had t12 easterly boundary from the southeast corner to <br />Central Drive, Staff reported th.are were no objections from surrounding <br />neighbors. <br />
