PLANNING COMMISSION <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A R3GULAR MEETING <br />November 27, 1967 <br />Chairman ':J. F. Minckley called the meeting to order at 7:53 P. M. at the <br />Town hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The following <br />members answered Roll Call: Present: Commissioners Bowler, Dawson, Hibner, <br />Lachenbruch, Perkins, Sherlock and Chairman Hinckley. <br />Council was represented by Councilman John M. Fowle. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 13, 1967. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Commissioner Perkins moved, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hibner, and carried unanimously by voice vote, that the <br />winutes of 14ovember 13, 1967 be approved as submitted. <br />CONDMUNICATIONS: <br />1. Letter dated November 13, 1967 from Commissioner Gordon E. Bowler on <br />the subject of lot size in Los Altos Hills with reference to the Analyses by <br />Commissioners Lachenbruch and Perkins. <br />Chairman Minckley directed that this communication be discussed at the slope <br />density study session. <br />2. Letter dated November 27, 1967 addressed to the Mayor, with copy to <br />Chairman Minckley, regarding restrictions on land use in Los Altos Hills, <br />was read by Staff. <br />ANAOUNCFlF111T5: <br />1. Staff called to the Commission's attention that the fourth Monday in <br />December falls on Christmas Day. <br />Chairman Minckley directed the Staff to cancel the Planning Commission <br />meeting on December 25th, but if necessary, a Special Meeting will be called. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />1. Commissioner Lachenbruch reported on the following Committees: <br />a) Mid -Peninsula Planning Committee - Preparation of final report is <br />now in process and will be submitted to the Foothill Communities <br />sometime in January. <br />b) Geological Hazards Committee - Final recommendations have been <br />prepared, which Commissioner Lachenbruch will submit at a later <br />date to the Commission, with one of the recommendations being <br />that a group of Mid -Peninsula communities pool their resources <br />4 and retain a geologic consultant to prepare a hazards nap. <br />
