PLANNING COMMISSION <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />February 10, 1969 <br />Chairman W. F. Minckley called the meeting to order at 7:47 P. M. at the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The following <br />members answered roll call: Commissioners Dawson, Hibner, Lachenbruch, <br />McReynolds, Perkins, Weisbart, and Chairman Minckley. <br />COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE: Councilman Mary C. Davey. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: January 13, 1969. <br />Correction: Page 3, BSA -50-68 (Zeitman, Phil), 7th para., Item 2, add the <br />words 'part of the' to: "along the southerly part of the right of way;" <br />Commissioner Dawson moved, seconded by Weisbart and carried unanimously, <br />that the Minutes of January 13, 1969 be approved as amended. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />1. Acting Manager read letter from Melvin L. Hawley, urging the continued <br />use of private roads with enforceable maintenance agreements. <br />Commission concurred that Mr. Hawley's letter be referred to Commissioner <br />Perkins, Chairman of the Private Road Committee, and that a letter of <br />appreciation be sent to Mr. Hawley for his offer of assistance. <br />2. Acting Manager submitted and read petition, dated February 8, 1969, <br />signed by 11 residents in the Manuella Drainage Basin, u3ap'ng that there be <br />no further development until a drainage solution has been resolved for this <br />area. <br />Staff noted this petition pertained to the Tentative Map of the Moyer <br />subdivision located on Campo Vista Lane, and additional comments concerning <br />drainage would be submitted later in the Agenda. <br />3. Chairman Minckley referred to the preliminary Minutes of the Santa Clara <br />County Planning Policy Committee, requesting Commissioners to submit comments <br />or questions. <br />4. Chairman Minckley noted receipt of letter from Wm. Spangle & Associates <br />dated February 1, 1969, which is in response to a request from the Private <br />Road Committee, for a proposal in three phases to complete long range planning <br />for a circulation element, amendments to ordinances, and preparation of a <br />revised General Plan. Chairman Minckley`,Fequested the Commission to consider <br />the approval of Phase I. <br />Commission concurred to discuss this matter under Other Business. <br />IAW <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br />1. Chairman Minckley announced a meeting of the Mid -Peninsula Planning <br />Committee on February 14th at 9:30 A. M. at 70 W. Hedding Street, San Jose. <br />
