PLANNING COMMISSION <br />4 <br />TOWN OF LAS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />April 14, 1969 <br />Chairman William A. Perkins called the meeting to order at 8:47 P. M. at the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The following <br />members answered roll call: Commissioners Dawson, Hibner, Lachenbruch, <br />McReynolds, Minckley, Weisbart, and Chairman Perkins. Absent: None. <br />COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE: Councilman John M. Fowle <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: March 24, 1969. <br />Commissioner Hibner moved, seconded by Veisbart and carried unanimously <br />that the Minutes of March 24, 1969 be approved as submitted, pending <br />clarification of the second paragraph on Page 3 defining "conforming use". <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br />1. City Manager stated Staff requested a Special Meeting for Friday, <br />April 18, 1969 at 5:00 P. M. to consider building site approval for the <br />Felix Hall property on Dori Lane. <br />Commission concurred that a quorum would be available and set the meeting at <br />the time and date noted above. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />1. Mrs. D. Saviano, 12620 Corte Madera Lane, Pathway Committee Vice -Chairman, <br />presented and reviewed recommendations for by-passing the corner entering <br />the Town at West Edith and Fremont Road. Path Committee recommended the path <br />be installed along Adobe Creek to improve traffic safety. <br />Commission concurred the path relocation would be desirable, noting the steep <br />terrain existing in the area. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Commissioner Minckley moved, seconded by <br />Weisbart and carried unanimously, that the Commission accept the report of <br />the Pathway Committee and refer it to Staff for their recommendations. <br />2. Commissioner Hibner announced the Citizens' Committee on horse regulations <br />will meet April 23rd (Wednesday) and that a preliminary report will be <br />submitted on April 28th. <br />3. Commissioner Minckley noted the Private Road Committee has scheduled two <br />meetings and is planning accelerated action on the General Plan revision. <br />COUNCIL REFERRALS: <br />1. City Manager stated the Council had requested the Commission to consider <br />and review planning implications of abandoning a portion of Central Drive, <br />prior to the Council Public Hearing set for said purpose on May 5th. <br />Commission concurred a Staff report on the consequences of the abandonment <br />procedure 3iould be submitted to the Commission prior to their next meeting, <br />and indicated their desire to obtain legal consultation from the City <br />Attorney and planning consultation from the Tom Planner. <br />
