` PLANNING COMMISSION <br />4r TO:JN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A RSGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING <br />July 28, 1969 <br />Chairman dilliam A. Perkins called the Regular Adjourned Meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:46 P. M. <br />at the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The <br />following members answered roll call: Present: Commissioners Minckley, <br />McReynolds,=eisbart, Chairman Perkins. Absent: Commissioners Dawson, <br />Hibner and Lachenbruch. <br />COUNCIL RBPRSSENTATIVE: Deputy Mayor Walter A. Benson. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: July 14, 1969. <br />Amendment: Page 7, Bobb Tentative Map, first paragraph should read: <br />"Staff report was presented recommending that the applicant's <br />engineer submit additional information ......... <br />Commissioner Minckley moved, seconded by Weisbart and carried unanimously, <br />that the Minutes of July 14, 1969 be approved as amended. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />1. Professor Girard of Stanford University, representing Committee for <br />Green Foothills, noted potential destruction of natural qualities and scenic <br />beauty by the proposed Stanford Development for the Coyote Hill area bounded <br />by Foothill Expressway, Deer Gulch, Hillview and Arastradero Road. <br />Professor Girard urged the Commission to send a representative to the Palo <br />Alto Planning Commission meeting, Wednesday, July 30, to ask Palo Alto for <br />a joint meeting with Los Altos Hills before any action on the proposed <br />development is taken by Palo Alto. <br />Commission concurred Commissioner Jeisbart should represent the Commission <br />and noted Councilman Helgesson would represent the City Council at the <br />July 30th meeting. <br />2. Mrs. Lois Bogle, representing Committee for Green Foothills, reviewed <br />petition urging Stanford University and the City of Palo Alto to cease <br />issuing building permits and approving further land divisions for that <br />area bounded by Foothill Expressway, Page Mill and Arastradero Roads, and <br />Junipero Serra Freeway, until the Palo Alto Foothills Study and Los Altos <br />Hills revised General Plan are nearer completion. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Commissioner Minckley noted the General Plan Committee had reviewed the <br />Preliminary Housing Clement and this would be reviewed under Study Session <br />items. <br />4W <br />
