PLANNING COMMISSION <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING <br />February 23, 1970 <br />Chairman Wm. A. Perkins called the Regular Adjourned Meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:47 P. M. at the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The following <br />members answered roll call: Present: Commissioners Dawson, Minckley, <br />Weisbart, Chairman Perkins. Absent: Commissioners Hibner, Lachenbruch, <br />and McReynolds. <br />COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE: Councilman Walter A. Benson <br />i APPROVAL OF MINUTES: February 9, 1970. <br />Commissioner Dawson moved, seconded by Minckley and carried unanimously <br />that the Minutes of February 9, 1970 be approved as submitted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br />1) Local Agency Formation Commission will meet Wednesday, March 4, at <br />2:00 P. M. to consider sphere of influence boundaries between the Town and <br />Cupertino. <br />2) Palo Alto had suggested April 15 or May 13 for next Joint Planning <br />Commission meeting. <br />Commissioner Minckley moved, seconded by Dawson and carried unanimously, <br />that the Palo Alto Planning Commission be invited to Los Altos Hills on <br />Wednesday, March 11 for a Joint Commission meeting. <br />3) Communication was read from Donald E. Spencer dated January 18, 1970 <br />re personal comments by Commissioners at public meetings. <br />TENTATIVE MAPS: <br />VOORHFES, VANDERVEER (365-69) 4 lots, 12 acres, E1 Monte Road. E. H. Smith, <br />Engr. <br />Staff report was presented recommending approval, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. An agreement be executed providing for automatic dedication of Voorhees <br />Drive when the Clausen property develops and dedicates additional right-of- <br />way or when any further subdivision of the Voorhees or Incerpi properties <br />occurs which would increase access utilization of Voorhees Drive. <br />2. Permit Voorhees Drive to presently remain a private road constructed to <br />14' width, except that the first 30t of the drive in from E1 Monte Road be <br />widened to 18' with a traffic actuator be embedded in the outgoing lane. <br />3. Recordation of a document requiring Voorhees Drive to be brought to <br />Town Standards at the time of public dedication. <br />4. The recordation of private maintenance agreement for Voorhees Drive. <br />Commission discussion ensued concerning paths, E1 Monte Road access and <br />Agency requirements for abandonment of well, sewers, and installation of a <br />6" water line, with Floor participation by A. J. Traficanti, applicant's <br />attorney, Dick Zeh, Roman Catholic Welfare Corporation representative, <br />Mrs. M. Saviano, Pathway Committee Chairman, and A. M. Laws, 11210 Hooper <br />Lane. <br />
