PLANNING COMMISSION <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILTS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />May 25, 1970 <br />Chairman Priscilla Weisbart called the Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission <br />of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:48 P. M. at the Town Hall, <br />26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. <br />The following members answered roll call: Present: Commissioners Corbett, <br />Hibner, Lachenbruch, Perkins, Spencer and Chairman Weisbart, Commissioner <br />McReynolds arrived at 8:40 P.M. <br />COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE: Councilman Leslie Helgesson. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 1-1, 1970 and May 14, 1970. <br />Commissioner Hibner moved, seconded by Lachenbruch and carried unanimously, <br />that the Minutes of May ll, 1970 be approved, with corrections on page 1 and 2 <br />under Variances to add to the end of the motions approving the application of <br />Max J. Schuller and denying the application of W. L. Bacheler, the words "in <br />accordance with the six criteria of Section XIII:60 of Ord. 78 " as amended. <br />Planning Commissioner Perkins moved, seconded by Spencer and carried unanimously, <br />that the Minutes of May 14, 1970 be approved as written. <br />COMMUNICATIONS• <br />1. City of San Jose will present report on Housing Element Study at 7:00 P.M., <br />June 1, in their council chambers. <br />2. LAFCO will meet June 4 at 2:00 P.M. in San Jose. <br />3. Regular Meeting of Palo Alto Planning Commission on May 27, 1970 at 7:30 P.M. <br />in the City Hall. <br />4. Planning Policy Committee meets May 28, 1970 in Los Altos. <br />5. Los Altos Hills Association will sponsor Candidates Night for County <br />Assessors at Town Hall on May 27, 1970 at 8:00 P.M. <br />OLD. BUSINESS: 1. PARKSIDE UNITS #2 and #3 (351-68) Eagr. Saudis & <br />Associates. Unit #2 - 13 lots, Deer Springs Way; <br />Unit #3 - 9 lots, Byrne Park Lane. Intersection of <br />Altamont and Taaffe Roads. <br />This item was continued from the May 11th meeting to allow the applicant time <br />to submit calculations on slope density; submit an application for a variance <br />for certain lots for encroachment into the front or side setback lines; and to <br />give further study to the access to lots #23 and #24 of Unit #2. The revised <br />maps with this information were not provided to the Commissioners until the <br />meeting, since Staff had received them too late Friday for the mail pick up. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Commissioner Hibner moved, seconded by Perkins <br />and carried unanimously that the subject of variances for Parkside Units #2 and <br />#3 be postponed until a later date. <br />
