PLANNING COMMISSION <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />July 27, 1970 <br />Chairman Priscilla R. Weisbart called the Regular Meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7147 P. M. at the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The following <br />members answered roll calls Present: Commissioners Corbett, Hibner, <br />Lachenbruch, McReynolds, Perkins, Spencer, Chairman Weisbart. Absents None. <br />COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE: Councilman Wm. Ross Aiken <br />APPROIAL OF MINUTBS: July 13, 1970 <br />Commissioner Spencer moved, seconded by McReynolds and carried by majority <br />voice vote (Chairman Weisbart abstained) that the Minutes of July 13, 1970 be <br />approved, with the following corrections: <br />Page 1, under Communications, change "they" to "the City Council referred <br />Mrs. Dana's letter to the Planning Commission." <br />Page 1, under Committee Re ts$ paragraph 2, delete the words following <br />"report" ands st tute "on the Foothills fire hazards and discussed the <br />feasibility of fire zoning." <br />4 COMMUNICATIONS <br />1. City of San Jose advised of the following meetings concerning the <br />expansion of the San Jose Municipal Airport: <br />(a) July 27th at 7700 P. M. to consider BASAR Study. <br />(b) October 5th at 7:00 P. M. to consider the consultant's report. <br />2. Mr. Donald A. Miller, Chairman of the Noise Abatement Committee, for- <br />warded a letter from Mr. R. W. Towle proposing a "sight and sound barrier" <br />to separate Stanford Industrial Park from Arastradero Road. <br />3. Palo Alto Planning Commission meets July 29th at 7530 P. M. <br />4. LAPCO meets August 5th at 2:00 P. M., San Jose. <br />S. Commissioner Perkins requested copies of the "Green Sheets" referenced <br />in Mrs. Florence Fava's letter be provided to the Commissioners. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />1. Commissioner McReynolds summarized a Planning Policy Committee prelimin- <br />ary proposal for implementing Countywide policies for the environment and <br />urban development. <br />2. Commissioner Spencer reported that the Pathway Committee is in process <br />of finalizing new path standards. <br />3. Commissioner Perkins reported on attending the Livingston and Blaney <br />`,, presentation and stated he anticipates the Palo Alto Commission will adopt <br />the recommendations in the presentation and acquire the lands. <br />
