PLANNING COMMISSION <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />October 12, 1970 <br />Chairman Priscilla R. Weisbart called the Regular Meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:50 P. M. at the Town <br />Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The following members <br />answered roll call: Present: Commissioners Hibner. Lachenbruch, McReynolds, <br />Perkins and Chairman Weisbart. Absent: Commissioner Spencer. <br />COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE: Councilman Leslie A. Helgesson <br />COMMUNICATIONS. <br />1. Letter from Mrs. Florence Fava to Mayor Benson was read that stated <br />the Parkside subdivision had provided an inaccessible corridor between Byrne <br />Park and the Duveneck property, while the acquisition of Byrne Preserve was <br />conditioned on the provision of a reasonably direct route and means of travel. <br />Staff noted The Nature Conservancy had reviewed the corridor grant prior to <br />its acceptance and had no objections. <br />Commissioner Perkins asked that Staff investigate and advise if the Town had <br />v ever had the Parkside Corridor surveyed. <br />2. Memo from the City Attorney was provided to the Commissioners in response <br />to questions they had raised regarding path easements. <br />3. Letter from former Councilman Wm. Ross Aiken expresse^. his thoughts on <br />standardization of the in -lieu fees on a per lot basis. <br />1. Chairman Weisbart invited Commissioners, Councilmen, Pathway and Tree <br />Committee members and the Press to participate in the field trip to review <br />the upcoming Matadero Oaks subdivision on Saturday, October 24, <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />1. REVIEW OF ORDINANCE NO. 69. <br />The extensive comments prepared by the Staff for updating Ordinance No. 69 <br />were submitted to the Commission for review and discussion ensued as to the <br />desirability of incorporating these proposed additions and changes. In <br />addition to suggested revisions by the Commissioners, Sections 6:20 A and B, <br />pertaining to roads, were referred to the Private Road Committee for further <br />study and clarification. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. REQUEST FROM CITY COUNCIL TO STUDY ORDINANCE NO. 102, BUILDING SITE <br />40 APPROVAL ORDINANCE. <br />Due to the late hour, this item was continued to the November 12 Agenda. <br />
