PLANNING COMMISSION <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />May 24, 1971 <br />pe! <br />PAQffi 39 SIDE 2, TRACK 1 FOOTAGE 135 --End <br />SIDE 2, TRACK 2 FOOTAGE 1155-- End <br />Chairman McReynolds called the Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission <br />Of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:46 P.M. at the Town Hall, <br />26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The following members <br />answered roll call: Present: Commissioners Magruder, Mueller, Spencer, <br />Weisbart and Chairman McReynolds. Absent: Commissioner Perkins. <br />Commissioner Lachenbruch arrived at 8:15 P.M. <br />APPROVAL QF MINUTES; April 26, 1971 <br />Commissioner Spencer moved, seconded by Magruder and carried unanimously that <br />the minutes of April 96, 1971 be approved with following correction to last <br />sentence on page 4: "Commissioner Spencer voted no." (not abstained). <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 10, 1971 <br />Commissioner Spencer moved, seconded by Weisbart and carried unanimously <br />6 that the minutes of May 10, 1971 be approved as written. <br />USE PREMITS: <br />HESSINYEY, MARGIT S. (UP -351-71) continued from meeting of May 10 -- <br />Request for Riding School. <br />Staff noted that this application was continued from the last meeting to permit <br />the applicant time to prepare a more detailed landscape plan for the property. <br />The landscape plan was presented and the changes and planned improvements <br />were note#. This included replacement of the chain link fence along Altamont <br />with aafape stake fence, new shake roof for the barn (matching the residence) <br />removal of the wall along the drive, which would then be sloped and covered <br />with ice plant. The slope behind the barn and ring would also utilize ice <br />plant ground cover. <br />Floor participation was heard from Miss Linda Tellington representing the <br />applicant, Mr. David Jansson, 27440 Sherlock Road, and Mr. Larry Watkins, <br />27200 Altamont. <br />Commission discussion of the 19 point check list (as amended at the last <br />meeting) resulted in the allowance of 3 paddocks along Altamont Road to contain <br />not more than 4 horses, in total. Also conditions were added to assure dust <br />control compatible with adjoining residential uses and that the location and <br />design of a proposed new equipment shed would be reviewed by the Site De- <br />( velopment Committee prior to issuance of a building permit. <br />r <br />
