PLANNING COMMISSION <br />!. TOWN OF IAS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />P.C.3 September 13, 1971 <br />RHSt-#1 SIDS 1, TRACK 2 -- FOOTAGE 1300 - HND <br />REBL-41 SIDE 2, TRACK 2 -- FOOTAGE 00 - 600 <br />Chairman Thomas P. McReynolds called the Regular Meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:45 P. M. at the Town <br />Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. The following members <br />answered roll call: Commissioners Magruder, Mueller, Perkins, Spencer, <br />Weisbart and Chairman McReynolds. Absent: Commissioner Lachenbruch. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: August 23, 1971. <br />Commissioner Weisbart moved, seconded by Mueller and carried by majority <br />vote (Magruder and Perkins absent, thus abstained) that the Minutes of <br />August 23, 1971 be approved with the. following corrections: <br />On Page 1, under Paragraph 1, add Commissioner Weisbart's name to the roll <br />call as being present. <br />At the top of Page 3, under Item #4, "Parkview Estates (375-71)11, delete <br />paragraph three in entirety, except for the beginning of the second sentence <br />so that it roads: "The Commission concurred that the applicant could withdra^ <br />the 4 -lot map and resubmit, without prejudice, a new Tentative Map." <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />1. Pacific Gas & Electric Co. advised of their intent to replace the two <br />existing power lines in Santa Cruz County between Soda Springs Canyon and <br />Mt. Herman with a single larger capacity line. <br />2. The County Flood Control and Water District requested Town comments on <br />their recommendations to formally name the two creeks commonly referred to <br />as Deer Gulch Creek and Purissima Creek. <br />Commission concurred that this item be agended for the next meeting. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />1. Commissioner Spencer reported on the Pathway Committee meeting and their <br />discussion on bike paths. <br />2. Chairman McReynolds reported that the Antenna Committee had been requested <br />to make the presentation to the Commission that had been made to the Council. <br />VARIANCES: <br />1. WALROD, WARREN (V-356-71) - Request for reduction of side setback of 18' <br />to 12' for residence addition at 25690 Chapin Road. <br />Staff reviewed this variance to permit extension of the southwesterly side of <br />AW the residence within the required side yard setback which would enclose an <br />existing outdoor stairway, extend a kitchen, expand an upstairs bedroom and <br />extend the downstairs area. <br />
