RESOLUTION NO 7 2-0 3 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF AN INITIATIVE PETITION <br /> WHEREAS, §17200 of the Elections Code of the State of California requires the <br /> election official to receive and preserve a referendum petition until eight months after the <br /> final examination by the elections official and thereafter the petition shall be destroyed as <br /> soon as practicable; and <br /> WHEREAS "An Initiative To Amend The Town Of Los Altos Hills General Plan <br /> And General Plan Diagram To Readopt Existing Land Use Designations For Certain <br /> Town-Owned Properties; And Prohibit the Conveyance, Sale Or Abandonment Of <br /> Certain Town-Owned Properties, Or Further Amendment To General Plan Land Use <br /> Designations Approved In This Initiative, With Certain Specified Exceptions, Without A <br /> Vote Of The Town Electorate" ("Los Altos Hills Open Space and Public Recreation <br /> Initiative") was last examined and certified by the Registrar of Voters on December 3, <br /> 2002. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Election Code <br /> 17200, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby directs the City Clerk to <br /> destroy said petition and all of its sections. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this l ay o` / 16 r' i i Y , 2003 <br /> By.. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: + <br /> titi <br /> City Jerk <br /> ccreso03 <br />
