RESOLUTION No. 9 9-0 3 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> AUTHORIZING A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF AN <br /> AGREEMENT WITH VAVRINEK, TRINE,DAY& CO.,LLP <br /> FOR THE 2004 FISCAL YEAR <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills entered into an agreement <br /> with Vavrinek,Trine, Day &Co., LLP (VTD) for audit services for fiscal years 2001 <br /> through 2003, and <br /> WHEREAS, VTD has provided such audit services in a professional and timely manner <br /> and has gained experience with the Town's financial records and systems, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Town will be required to implement Statement 34, "Basic Financial <br /> Statements-and Management's Discussion and Analysis -For State and Local <br /> Governments," issued by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board for fiscal year <br /> 2004, and <br /> WHEREAS, it would be in the Town's best interests to extend the term of the agreement <br /> with VTD by one year; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby <br /> authorize the City Manager on behalf of the Town to extend the term of the Agreement <br /> between the Town of Los Altos Hills and Vavrinek, Trine,Day &Co., LLP by one year <br /> in accordance with the terms of the Agreement entered into on May 17, 2001 for a cost <br /> not to exceed$23,540. <br /> REGULARLY PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December, 2003. <br /> / <br /> BY: <br /> Mayor de <br /> A ES : <br /> <br /> City Clerk 1111 <br />
