• <br /> 4110 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-02 <br /> • <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS <br /> HILLS TO PLACE BEFORE THE VOTERS OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS - <br /> HILLS AN ORDINANCE ADDING TITLE H, CHAPTER 7 TO THE LOS ALTOS <br /> BILLS MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to submit to the voters at the next general or <br /> special election occurring at least eighty-eight(88) days from October 3, 2002, whichever <br /> occurs first, an ordinance requiring voter approval for the sale,transfer, conveyance, <br /> abandonment or change in the General Plan land use designation for specified Town- <br /> owned properties; - <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the-Town of Los Altos Hills does <br /> hereby resolve as follows: <br /> Section 1. That the City Council orders submitted to the voters at the next general or <br /> special election occurring at least eighty-eight(88) days after October 3, <br /> 2002, whichever occurs first, the following question and ordinance: <br /> YES <br /> Shall an Ordinance that requires voter approval prior to the sale, <br /> transfer, conveyance, or abandonment of.specified Town-owned <br /> real properties and that requires voter approval prior to an NO <br /> amendment to the General Plan land use designation for the j <br /> same specified Town-owned properties be adopted? <br /> Section 2. The ordinance to be enacted by the voters pursuant to Section 1 above <br /> shall be in the form set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br /> Section 3. Thismeasure is submitted to the voters pursuant to Elections Code § 9222. <br /> Section 4. The ballots used at the election shall be in the formand content as is <br /> required by law. <br /> Section 5. The adoption of this resolution and the submission of the attached <br /> ordinance to the voters are exempt from the requirements of the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act("CEQA"). Consistent with CEQA Guideline <br /> Section 15061(b)(3), the proposed voter approval requirements will not <br /> have a significant effect on the environment because it does not modify <br /> the current General Plan for the specified properties <br /> 208394-1 <br />
