• <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4-01 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> APPOINTING AN ACTING CITY MANAGER AND AUTHORIZING OUT-OF-CLASS PAY <br /> FOR A TOWN EMPLOYEE SERVING AS THE ACTING CITY MANAGER. <br /> WHEREAS, the position of City Manager is currently vacant, the interim City <br /> Manager will be leaving the Town on January 31, 2001 and efforts are underway to retain <br /> a permanent City Manager; and <br /> WHEREAS, Carol Ferrell, Town Finance Director, in addition to her daily duties as <br /> Town Finance Director, has agreed to perform the essential job functions of the City <br /> Manager, as assigned by the Mayor, from February 1, 2001 through March 16, 2001; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 7.6.1 of the Town's Personnel Policy allows for an increased <br /> compensation pay rate for such periods of time in which an employee additionally performs <br /> the essential functions of a position with a higher salary classification than in which they <br /> are regularly employed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> 1. Carol Ferrell shall take on the duties of the City Manager, as assigned by the <br /> Mayor, from February 1, 2001 through March 16, 2001 ("Term"). <br /> 2.
