I • • RESOLUTION NO. 17-00 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF EXHIBITS F and G TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS, AND LOS ALTOS GARBAGE COMPANY FOR SOLID WASTE, RECYCLABLES AND YARD TRIMMINGS COLLECTION FRANCHISEE AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills has read and considered the revised Exhibit F and revised Exhibit G to that certain Agreement Among the Town of Los Altos Hills, and Los Altos Garbage Company for Solid Waste, Recyclables, and Yard Trimmings Collection ("Agreement"); and WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills believes that the rates for service for long driveways should be lowered on multiple can collection to more accurately reflect the costs of collection; and WHEREAS, the Los Altos Garbage Company has added the option of an eight (8) yard debris box for rock, dirt or concrete with a limit of six (6) tons; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Agreement the Los Altos Garbage Company is entitled to have the rates revised to reflect the change in the Consumer Price Index. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town does RESOLVE as follows: 1. Public interest and convenience require the.Town of Los Altos Hills to revise • the rates as set forth in Exhibit F and Exhibit G. 2. The Town of Los Altos Hills hereby approves revised Exhibit F and Exhibit G, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein, and authorizes the City Manager to give the Los Altos Garbage Company notice of the revised Exhibit F and Exhibit G and directs that the newrates be implemented as soon as possible, but in no event later than April 1, 2000.
