• • <br /> RESOLUTION No. 38-00 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN <br /> OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AUTHORIZING OUT-OF- <br /> CLASS PAY FOR EMPLOYEES APPOINTED AS <br /> ACTING CITY MANAGER <br /> WHEREAS, the position of City Manager is currently vacant and efforts are <br /> underway to retain an interim placement to fulfill the duties of the position until <br /> such time as the position is filled on a permanent, full-time basis; and <br /> WHEREAS, other City employees have agreed to perform the essential job <br /> functions of the City Manager as assigned by the Mayor; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 7.6.1 of the Town's Personnel Policy allows for an <br /> increased compensation pay rate for such periods of time in which an employee <br /> additionally performs the essential functions of a position with a higher salary <br /> classification than in which they are regularly employed; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> does hereby authorize an out-of-class pay rate of 5% over the employees' current <br /> regular compensation pay rate, for those employees appointed as Acting City <br /> Manager by the Mayor, as of May 16, 2000 and until such time as an interim <br /> placement is made. <br /> REGULARLY PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June , 2000. <br /> :/< <br /> aji r <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br />
