• <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 45-00 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS <br /> ALTOS HILLS AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION UNDER THE <br /> JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR INTERGOVERNMENTAL <br /> EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SERVICES <br /> WHEREAS, the Town has in the past held an associate membership to the <br /> Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) for Intergovernmental Employee Relations <br /> Services, an authority that includes 35 cities, counties and special districts <br /> primarily in Santa Clara, San Mateo and Alameda counties; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Town desires access to the up-to-date, accurate salary and <br /> benefit information for member agencies in the Bay Area which is provided by <br /> the JPA; and <br /> WHEREAS, the only current form of membership available to the <br /> Intergovernmental Employee Relations Services is as a signatory to the JPA. <br /> gg rY <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does <br /> approve the Agreement to become a party to the Joint Powers Agreement <br /> effective July 1, 2000. <br /> REGULARLY passed and adopted this 20th day of July, 2000. <br /> , , <br /> ' ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br />
