ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING t10MMISSION TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS 26379 Fremont Road Minutes of a Reular Meeting September 26, 1973 Preceded by a Study Session Reel 21, Tract 1, 225 to End Study Session The Study Session of the Environmental Planning Comoission of the Ton of Los Altos Hills met at 8:OOP.M. with Vice Chairman Mualle: presiding. A. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION 1. Balanced residential Community Qu=stioneire. The questionaire, received from the County of Santa Clara Of`-. -,e of Educa- tion, was discussed. Recommendation to Council on Open Space Committee. it George Mader stated the Town is requir::u by stdte law to prepare an open -pace elemont for its General Plan. He suggested that the Town reacti- vatP r.K citizens advisory Committee to iderf-Fy ""1-t on;l snar, be preserved and on Preserving the open spaces. He suggested the proce- dure outlined in his memo of December 1970, be considered as an approach for the committee. The Environmental Planning Commission was adan„nt a�out the Open Space Element being pursued further. They felt the City Council should reinst,^te the Citizens Advisory Open Space Committee as soon as possible so that they may participate in the Open Space Element work.
